Permanent Jewelry Diaries: SOLIDCORE Harbor Point + Federal Hill | Baltimore, MD

Two Baltimore Pop-Ups, Countless Conversations, and a Weekend That Was Never Just About the Jewelry

Walking into SOLIDCORE for a pop-up feels different than walking into most event spaces.
There is already a certain kind of energy in the room — focused, strong, a little tired in the most satisfying way, and still somehow open. Women are coming out of class flushed, grounded, and accomplished. They have already done something hard before they ever reach the jewelry table, and I think that changes the conversation.
This past weekend, I had the chance to host permanent jewelry pop-up experiences at SOLIDCORE Harbor Point and SOLIDCORE Federal Hill, and the entire weekend reminded me that these events are never just about jewelry.
They are about people.
They are about personality.
They are about the stories women carry into the room with them.
And this one gave me plenty to remember.
About the SOLIDCORE Experience in Baltimore
Both SOLIDCORE locations brought their own kind of magic.
From the moment I arrived, everyone was welcoming. The energy felt bright, open, and easy to settle into. There was a rhythm to the weekend — classes moving in and out, women lingering to chat, moments of curiosity turning into laughter, recommendations, shared stories, and permanent jewelry appointments that felt more like little pauses in the middle of a full life.
One thing I loved learning? SOLIDCORE validates parking for members, which honestly feels like a luxury in Baltimore and deserves its own little round of applause.
And because these pop-ups took place in two distinct parts of the city — Harbor Point and Federal Hill — the weekend carried that uniquely Baltimore feeling I have come to love: different neighborhoods, different personalities, same thread of connection.
The Permanent Jewelry Experience
Guests visiting my table were able to choose from a curated selection of 14k gold-filled and sterling silver chains, custom-fit and welded on-site into bracelets and rings designed for everyday wear.
And yes — rings.
We got to do some pretty cool bracelets and even rings.
Yes, I said rings.
One of the most fun parts of the weekend was seeing how excited people were by that option.

The pieces linked over the weekend included:
-
a double rolo ring in 14k gold fill
-
a Cuban link bracelet in 14k gold filled with an S connector
-
Two Sunburst chains in 14k gold-filled
-
an elongated box chain in gold-filled with an evil eye connector
That elongated box chain with the evil eye connector felt especially satisfying because the client had been looking everywhere for one — and I had it. One of those tiny victorious moments that probably meant more to me than it should have, but I enjoyed it fully.
And if silver and gold were in a race this weekend?
Gold won.
The Conversations That Made the Weekend

Some weekends stand out because of sales. Others stand out because of the people.
This one was the second kind.
I met amazing women this weekend — women with stories, opinions, humor, recommendations, and lives that felt full in all the ways that matter.
The conversations bounced everywhere in the best way. We talked about solo camping trips, the absolutely relentless parking authority in Baltimore City, the Real Housewives, and even what it is like to dance for the Wizards. Those are the kinds of topics that somehow find their way to the permanent jewelry table, and honestly, I would not have it any other way.
At one point, I bonded with an instructor over the deeply specific, very funny experience of using your significant other’s saved debit card in the Starbucks app to buy yourself a coffee as a kind of apology gift. It was one of those oddly niche conversations that instantly makes you feel understood.
In that moment, I felt so seen, heard, and validated.
Sometimes, a connection does not arrive through some grand speech. Sometimes it comes through one absurdly specific detail that makes two women look at each other and think, yes, exactly.
The people and conversations were truly unmatched.
Helping Women Choose the Right Chain for Their Lifestyle

One thing weekends like this always remind me is that permanent jewelry is not one-size-fits-all.
A huge part of what I do is helping women choose the best chain not just for their style, but for their real life.
For example, when I am helping a nurse choose a bracelet, I usually recommend going a little thicker and making sure the fit is right. Too much slack can create enough room for the bracelet to catch when gloves come off, and I have heard too many stories about women losing brand-new bracelets that way.
If their personal style does not align with a chunkier chain, I often recommend an anklet instead.
That kind of guidance matters.
Because permanent jewelry should feel beautiful, yes — but it should also feel wearable, functional, and aligned with the life someone actually lives.
Baltimore Recommendations, Side Conversations, and Why It All Matters
I also left with a few local recommendations tucked into my pocket.
I got the inside scoop on the roasted Brussels Caesar salad at Locals Only, which I am now absolutely going to have to try, and I picked up Cross Street Market recommendations too.
Those little side conversations are part of what makes permanent jewelry in Baltimore feel so personal. You do not just leave with sales or content. You leave with a better sense of the city and the women inside it.
That is part of the beauty of these pop-ups. They create a little space where wellness, style, humor, and everyday life all overlap.
What I Took With Me

Every pop-up teaches me something.
This weekend reminded me that permanent jewelry in Baltimore is as much about connection as it is about the final piece. It is about what happens around the table — the laughter, the oversharing, the recommendations, the tiny bonding moments, the women figuring out what feels like them.
It reminded me that the environment shapes the experience.
That wellness spaces carry a different kind of openness.
That rings can be a surprise favorite.
That gold had a strong weekend.
And that the right conversation can stay with you just as long as the jewelry does.
I laughed.
I cried.
But that is a story for another day… or year.
